This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, trading as an Employment Agency. Our client based in Ruabon are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their food packing team on a 4 on / 4 off basis starting immediately.
This Warehouse Operative role is an integral part of the efficient operation of the warehouse, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. Core skills and previous warehouse experience will enable the successful candidate to excel in tasks such as:
- Stocking
- Picking & packing
- Shipping & receiving
- Ensuring the safe and timely movement of goods
Hours of work: 6am - 6pm on 4 on / 4 off rota (will involve some Saturday and Sunday working).
Duties will include:
- Use of EPT
- Paperwork and delivery notes
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Manual handling of packed products onto trailers
- Processing deliveries
- Sanity checks of trucks
- Final inspection
- General warehouse duties
A good level of literacy and numeracy is required for completion of the paperwork on site. The ideal candidate will have experience of using an EPT or PPT along with solid warehouse work experience. The starting rate for this Warehouse Operative role is £12.71ph (plus 50p of attendance and safety bonus).
