These positions are being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, trading as an Employment Agency. Immediate work available in Telford on Halesfield Industrial Estate. 3 x Industrial Production Assistants required on a long term, temp to perm basis, with a permanent contract issued after 10 weeks working for Swift Temps Ltd.
As a full time Industrial Production Assistant, you will be required to work 5 days a week on a rotational shift pattern of mornings, afternoons and nights. The shift pattern is:
- Week 1 - 6am to 2pm Mon to Fri - £12.21 ph
- Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm Mon to Fri - £12.21 ph
- Week 3 - 10pm to 6am Monday night to Saturday morning - £12.71 ph (30 min unpaid break, x 2 15 min paid breaks per shift)
All suitable candidates must be available to work all 3 shifts, with Night shift paid at a 50p per hour premium.
Duties will involve:
- Physical, manual loading and unloading
- Handling heavy metal products
- Operating machinery
- Metal preparation
- Quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintaining production levels as part of a small team
- Monitoring the dipping process
Previous experience working in a metal or engineering factory is essential, along with availability to work all shifts as listed above and own transport due to local hours of work. Please note this role is a physical, manual role involving lifting and handling of metal products.
