We are looking to expand our clients team based in the lovely Stratford Upon Avon for an experienced MIG Welder.
£14p/h Monday-Thursday 8am-17:00pm/ Friday- 8am-13:00pm. 12 Week Temp to Perm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weld metal parts using MIG/TIG welding methods.
- Read blueprints, drawings, sketches, and schematics to determine the welding process needed to weld metal parts.
- Inspect welded parts to ensure that they meet specifications and safety requirements.
- Inspect machines to ensure that the welded parts meet specifications and safety requirements.
- Working with jigs/fixtures for the manufacturing of parts for JCB.
- Clean metal parts after welding them.
- Prepare drawings for welding with blueprints or sketches showing the welding process.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications (including safety requirements) to determine the welding process needed to weld metal parts.
- Ability to use hand tools (hammer, nail gun etc.) and basic hand milling operations.
