We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication to contribute to our projects using their expertise in various welding techniques and hand tools.

Hours: 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-13:00 Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components, including sheet metal and fabricated parts, adhering to technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine weld locations and specifications.
  • Assist in the assembly of welded components, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MIG welding.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in metalworking.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes and material handling.
