We are looking to expand our clients team based in the lovely Stratford Upon Avon for an experienced MIG Welder.

Job Description:

  • Weld metal parts using MIG/TIG welding methods.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, sketches, and schematics to determine the welding process needed to weld metal parts.
  • Inspect welded parts to ensure that they meet specifications and safety requirements.
  • Inspect machines to ensure that the welded parts meet specifications and safety requirements.
  • Working with jigs/fixtures for the manufacturing of parts for JCB.
  • Clean metal parts after welding them.
  • Prepare drawings for welding with blueprints or sketches showing the welding process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Skills:

  • Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications (including safety requirements) to determine the welding process needed to weld metal parts.
  • Ability to use hand tools (hammer, nail gun etc.) and basic hand milling operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
