This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, operating as an Employment Agency. 6 x Full time Farm Assistants required immediately on a full time, long term temp to perm basis. Due to the location of this farm, own transport is essential.
Starting rate: £12.21ph, increasing to £12.71ph from April 2026, increasing up to £13.00ph once a permanent contract is issued after 12 working weeks through Swift Temps Ltd.
Hours/ days of work: 7am to 4pm - option to work 5 days a week including weekends or 6 days a week work either a Saturday or Sunday.
Duties:
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labour inside and outside.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the farm.
- Assist with animal care and day to day animal welfare including feeding, watering, and cleaning.
- Disposing of general and animal waste.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
- Inspecting sheds and floors.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor on a daily basis.
- Experience with animal care is preferred.
- Own transport in the form of a car or motorbike.
- Flexibility to work weekends / Saturday or a Sunday.
- Familiarity with working life on a farm.
