Our client is looking for a sewing machinist to join their small and friendly team, providing a nice clean environment to work in. You would be responsible for operating the sewing machines to produce fabric products like clothing, upholstery, and other textile items. You will program the machine, set up all the threads and uniforms to be stitched, and monitor the machine. Key duties also include:
- Stitching together pre-cut fabric pieces, following patterns and specifications to create finished products.
- Adjusting machine settings.
- Conducting quality control checks.
- Performing basic machine maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in sewing techniques and machine operation.
- Experience in warehouse settings is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
