The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welding Supervisor to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in the Stratford upon Avon area. The role is to oversee daily production schedules, ensure all welds meet compliance and quality standards, manage resources and consumables, and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols across the shop floor. This is a full-time ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

Duties Include:

  • Allocate daily tasks to welders, monitor workflow to meet deadlines, and troubleshoot material or equipment delays.
  • Welding mild steel components.
  • Enforce site safety rules, ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and oversee the routine maintenance of MIG welding machines and fume extraction systems.
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings.
  • Fabricating and assembling metal products.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous welding experience and supervising experience is essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual attitude.
  • Own transport required due to rural location.
