Working Hours AM shift:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
  • Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder/Supervisor to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Atherstone on Stour. The role is to oversee daily production schedules, ensure all welds meet compliance and quality standards, manage resources and consumables, and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols across the shop floor. This is a full-time ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.

Duties Include:

  • Allocate daily tasks to welders, monitor workflow to meet deadlines, and troubleshoot material or equipment delays.
  • MIG welding mild steel components.
  • Enforce site safety rules, ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and oversee the routine maintenance of MIG welding machines and fume extraction systems.
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings.
  • Fabricating and assembling metal products.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous MIG welding experience and supervising experience is essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual attitude.
  • Own transport required due to rural location and limited public transport links.
