We are seeking a dedicated Loader/ FLT Counterbalance driver to join our engineering and reinforcement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading of metal products and components and will be happy working in all weather conditions.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A FULL FLT POSITION; IT IS A DUAL ROLE.
Monday-Friday, 6:30-16:30pm, £13.00, Temp to Perm!
Duties:
- Load and unload goods using appropriate materials handling equipment.
- Operate FLT Counterbalance vehicle as and when required - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A FULL FLT POSITION.
- Taking out and placing stock away in the correct locations.
- Loading up and unloading HGV vehicles to go out for deliveries.
- Utilise platforms for inventory control and process optimisation.
- Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all handling activities.
Skills:
- Proven experience in an engineering business.
- Hold a valid accredited FLT Counterbalance licence (please note in house will not be accepted).
- Happy to work in all weather conditions.
- Happy to commute to Rugby - will need own transport due to site's location.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours (overtime).
