This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, operating as an Employment Agency. We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Warehouse FLT Driver to join our food manufacturing client in Shawbury (between Shrewsbury & Market Drayton) working day shift only, Monday to Friday.

Pay: £13.00 ph, paid weekly

Hours: 50 hours a week - 06:00 till 18:00 with 1 h unpaid break

This role is long term only, with the option to gain a permanent contract after 12 weeks working through Swift Temps Ltd.

Duties:

  • Operate forklift trucks safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Transport stock on/off lorries inside and outside.
  • Ensure equipment, materials and ingredients enter production areas as per production schedule.
  • Order pick packaging and dried goods by hand.
  • Stock rotation and stock management.
  • Move goods across site.
  • Assist with handballing goods and moving pallets with EPT and FLT.
  • Completing stock control, stock transport and stock rotation within cold, cool environment.
  • Paper based and data entry of all goods in & out.
  • Final inspection of goods out and recording traceability.

Necessary Requirements:

  • Valid FLT Counter Balance FLT License & at least 1 year FLT experience.
  • Warehousing and stock control experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to load and upload up to 25kg.
  • Happy to work inside food factory and outside when required within yard.
  • Food handling experience.
  • Full time, long term availability.
  • Own transport in form of reliable motor vehicle.

Due to rural location you must have your own transport as public transport does not operate in the area. Please do not apply if you do not wish to work in a food manufacturing/processing environment as the role will involve handling raw ingredients.
