This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, trading as an Employment Agency. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant/Packer to join our manufacturing team on a temporary week by week basis starting from Thursday 21st May. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience within a fast-paced and safety-focused production environment on a seasonal basis with an opportunity of long-term work subject to performance & production levels.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. Break 30' paid and 2 x 15' unpaid.
Pay: £13.00 per hour paid weekly by Swift Temps Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and packaging liquid products, including chemical and potentially hazardous substances, in line with safety procedures.
- Accurately measuring and weighing materials to meet production specifications.
- Ensuring all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Performing a range of production tasks, including packing and basic assembly work.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace in a potentially dusty environment.
- Following instructions and working independently when required.
- Completing documentation with clear and accurate written communication.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling, including heavy lifting.
- Willingness to work in an environment involving chemicals and dust.
Health & Safety:
- Full PPE must be worn at all times.
- Safety boots (EN ISO 20345 standard) required.
- Face masks must be worn as required.
- Respiratory protection equipment will be provided where necessary.
Recruitment Process:

- Due to the rural location of our client based on the outskirts of Telford, own transport in the form of car/motor vehicle is essential.
