This seasonal position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd trading as an Employment Agency.
Outside Harvest Operatives required immediately on the outskirts of Wem near Shrewsbury to join an independent plant grower as part of their harvest team collecting, processing and picking oaks, bulbs and natural produce as well as taking samples and plant cuttings. This job is outside duties only, working in orchards and woodlands at heights (ladders provided) and low level handling including labouring, loading and unloading goods collected by hand. Previous outside experience on a farm, labouring or within a plant nursery is essential along with own transport to get to the yard each morning.
This role is seasonal week by week with the potential to work up to late November subject to weather.
Location: Yard base near Wem with transport to sites across Shropshire provided by our client (travel time between sites is paid).
Hours of work: basic hours 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, option for overtime available.
PAY: £13.00 for the first 40 hours per week, overtime after 40 hours £19.50 - weekly pay by Swift Temp Ltd.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
