We are looking for practical and reliable
Carpentry / Set Build Operatives
to join a busy production environment working on the construction and assembly of display, set and event structures. You
do not need to be a fully qualified carpenter
for this position. We're interested in people who are confident using basic hand and power tools and have experience with practical assembly, woodworking, fabrication or similar work. Key Responsibilities
Building and assembling wooden structures, displays and set pieces Measuring, cutting and fixing timber, MDF, plywood and similar materials Using hand and power tools safely Following basic drawings, measurements and instructions Assisting with the preparation and finishing of set pieces Working as part of a team to complete projects to deadlines Keeping the workshop and work area clean and organised Following all health and safety procedures What We're Looking For
Previous experience in
carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, exhibition build, furniture assembly, set building, fabrication or similar Confident using basic hand and power tools Good practical skills and attention to detail Able to follow measurements and instructions Reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment Full qualifications are not essential
practical ability and the right attitude are more important. Suitable Backgrounds
