Full-time Light Hand Packer position available immediately in Ruabon, near Wrexham, to join a fast-growing, modern food packing facility on a long-term temp-to-perm contract working day shift on a 4 on, 4 off rota.
Pay: Starting rate £12.71ph (inclusive of a 50p per hour safety/attendance bonus), rising up to £13.00ph with permanent contract, with wages paid weekly via Swift Temps Ltd.
Duties will involve:
- Light, clean packing within a fast-paced environment
- Handling raw food products throughout the packaging process
- Processing raw materials
- Ability to work under pressure
- Aptitude (for setting up lines) – changing parts and making adjustments as required
- Grading eggs by hand into size and quality
- Visually detecting any damage or imperfections
- Labelling and preparing stock for dispatch
Hours / days of work: Suitable candidates MUST be able to work from 6am up to 6pm on a 4 on/ 4 off rota, including some weekend work.
Full on-the-job training will be provided; however, previous food production or packing experience is desirable.
Requirements: Own reliable transport is essential due to the rural location of our client, as public transport does not operate in the area.
