We are seeking several Food Production Operatives immediately to join our busy client in Shawbury (Shropshire)working on temp to perm long term basis working 12 full weeks through Swift Temps Ltd before being offered a permanent contract.

Working Hours:

  • 3pm to 12:30pm Monday to Friday (6 positions available) or 6am to 3pm ( 6 positions available)
  • Starting pay rate: £12.50ph , paid weekly by Swift Temps Ltd

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the food production process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient operation.
  • Unloading cooked items and loading ingredients
  • Lifting and loading bags and raw materials
  • Adhere to guidelines to maintain food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular product inspections
  • Packing and labelling produced food
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
  • Follow all health and safety regulations within the food production environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food production is essential
  • Basic maths skills for accurate record keeping
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Live locally to Shawbury or within 25 miles with own reliable transport in the form of a motor vehicle due to the rural location of the factory
