We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy operations team. This role will involve maintaining and repairing plant and site equipment through both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine inspections of site equipment
- Performing planned preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
- Responding quickly to breakdowns
- Maintaining key spare parts and equipment
- Keeping accurate maintenance records
- Supporting general repair and upkeep of the building
- Scheduling PPM and repairs where required
- Liaising with contractors on site when needed
- Maintaining a clean and organised maintenance area
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in maintenance engineering
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with process or production equipment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- A flexible and practical approach to work
- Formal engineering or maintenance qualifications would be desirable
