We are looking for a HGV Class 1 driver for our client based in Victoria, St. Austell. A globally renowned company using CEdrivers for multidrop palletised delivery.
Shift pattern is Monday until Friday, 9 am starts and work is ongoing for the right candidate (with the possibility of going permanent). You will be delivering parcels, usually 15 to 18 pallets per shift over a few drops per day and possibly some collections at the end of the day. Some manual handling will be a part of this role using a pump truck. 45 mins unpaid break per day.
Pay is £16.36 per hour basic and £24.54 overtime. Ideally, we are looking for someone with at least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience. Client requires a full UK licence with no more than 6 points (depending on the code).
For long term workers, a DBS check will have to be arranged - but this applies if you work over 4 weeks so does not have to be applied for beforehand.
