Swift are looking to recruit a Process Improvement Lead for our prestigious client in Hereford. The successful applicant will lead the Manufacturing departments to develop and improve manufacturing, Quality and Safety processes.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead improvement projects to reduce product variability through process standardisation and procedural control.
- Provide support to manufacturing departments with the implementation of improved processes.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and evaluating manufacturing metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- Apply process improvement principles across the business working with the production teams to identify, develop and implement change.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and train others to identify areas of non compliance in systems and processes.
- Lead continuous Improvement programs to enhance quality capability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the introduction of new products from design stage into manufacturing.
ADDITIONAL TASKS/AREAS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ROLE:
- Leadership & Facilitation skills
- Proficiency in project management software and data visualisation tools for process mapping
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Good industrial experience in delivering technical solutions.
- Practical knowledge of Six Sigma or similar Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Strong understanding of ISO and BSI systems and processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent analytical problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to drive change and implement continuous improvement plans.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Lean six sigma (Green Belt)
- Project Management Prince 2 level
- ILM 5
