My client is a specialist engineering company supplying advanced blasting machinery, automation systems, and on-site support services to the Aerospace and Industrial sectors across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Due to increased business demands we are looking to add to the team.

The Role

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our office team in Cheltenham. This is a varied, fast-paced position supporting daily business operations, customer communication, and internal administration. This role would suit someone organised, proactive, and confident communicating with customers and suppliers, who enjoys taking ownership of tasks within a growing engineering business. No engineering background is required, although an interest in working within a technical environment would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and handling customer phone calls and general enquiries.
  • Tracking spare parts orders and providing customer updates.
  • Supporting project administration and database record keeping.
  • Packing and organising shipment of spare parts.
  • Updating accounting software and internal systems.
  • Processing customer and supplier invoices.
  • Raising purchase orders.
  • Monitoring supplier and customer payments and assisting with reconciliation.
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records.
  • Working independently following initial training.
