We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our client based in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Start time around 6:00am
- Typically 10-hour shifts, although finish times may vary depending on the route
- Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
- 45-minute unpaid break each day
The Role
- Driving a company van to complete deliveries across designated routes
- Approximately 10 drops per day
- Loading your own vehicle before departure
- Manual handling and lifting of goods as part of daily duties
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and professionally
Requirements
- Previous van driving experience is essential
- Experience driving a Luton van would be advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (depending on offence code)
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling due to the nature of the role
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
