The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Spot Welder to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Atherstone on Stour. This is a full-time ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period. As a Spot Welder, you’ll be responsible for operating resistance welding equipment to manufacture precision components in line with production and quality standards. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, consistency and quality are key. You’ll work closely with production and quality teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to specification. This is a great opportunity to develop within a specialist engineering business.

Shift Hours

08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday
08:00-13:00 Friday

Duties Include

  • Spot welding mild steel components
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Fabricating and assembling metal products
  • Quality checking completed work
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous Spot welding experience essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual attitude
  • Own transport required due to rural location and limited public transport links
