SWIFT Temps Ltd β Bradford Industrial Recruitment Division is currently recruiting for a Processing Operative on behalf of our client in Grassington.
Key duties:
- Operating milk and juice pasteurising equipment
- Machine operation
- Working on a production line
- Training provided for Clean-in-Place (CIP) operator duties
- Packing and labelling products
- Washing and cleaning machinery
- Some heavy lifting may be required
Essential qualities & skills:
- Physically fit (able to climb ladders, 12hr shifts on their feet in quite hot environment in summer, heavy lifting β rolling juice barrels, lifting pipes etc)
- Maths skills (working out product, mixing formulations)
- Fluent written and verbal English (to complete the training, liaise with management & raw product delivery drivers, and complete in-house documentation & records)
- Attention to detail
- Performing under pressure / thinking on their feet
- Flexibility in terms of working times / days (shift start/end times and days will vary)
- Honesty & reliability
Hours:
- 40 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Saturday, rotating shifts)
- Shifts can be between 8 to 10 hours with early starts and later finishes
