This role involves the collection and disposal or recycling of household and commercial waste, as well as general street scene duties such as litter picking and bin emptying. Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and moving waste containers (bags, wheelie bins, recycling bins/boxes)
- Operating bin lifting mechanisms on refuse vehicles
- Loading plastic waste bags into the lorry
- Litter picking and street cleaning duties
- Sorting recyclables at the kerbside
- Maintaining polite and professional conduct with members of the public
