We are recruiting a Production Team Leader to join a busy production team in Tewkesbury due to internal promotion and increased workload. The role involves leading, motivating, and training staff through practical instruction to ensure line efficiency.

You will work as part of a leadership team to maintain quality standards, complete production records accurately, and report any maintenance, quality, or production issues. You will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene and housekeeping standards, supporting a safe working environment in line with Health and Safety policies, and working flexibly across shifts to meet production needs.

This is a physically active role requiring manual handling. The role is based on a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, working 5 shifts per week, Monday to Saturday, with start times at 05:15 or 13:30 and finish times based on production demands. Please note that shifts do not follow a regular pattern and flexibility is required.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Team Leader in a busy production environment, good knowledge of Health and Safety practices, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Knowledge of food production, HACCP, and KPIs, as well as experience in the dairy or food production industry, would be advantageous.
