Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shift Manager to lead our manufacturing operations during the early shift. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and driving continuous improvement through Lean principles. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Lead and supervise the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing team. * Maintain a safe working environment in full compliance with regulations. * Ensure productivity and quality targets are met. * Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing and 5S practices. * Train, coach, and support team members to develop their skills. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of production goals. * Monitor KPIs and report shift performance to senior management. * Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For Essential: * Proven experience as a Shift Manager or similar supervisory role. * Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and health & safety standards. * Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. * Ability to manage time, people, and priorities effectively. * Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Desirable: * Background in FMCG or food manufacturing environments. * Knowledge of 5S, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methods. * Awareness of BRC standards and audit processes.
