Our Cheltenham based client is looking for a Production Administrator to join their team. The role of the Production Administrator is to support the production function by performing administrative duties, maintaining a positive company image whilst acting as the point of contact for customers and suppliers. You will communicate directly with customers and the production team regarding issues and updates. Managing correspondence by answering phone calls, emails and sorting post as well as liaising with the Production Manager.
- Participate in internal production meetings
- Managing and maintaining the order book
- Order entry and acknowledgment (using bespoke MRP system)
- Raw material procurement
- Contract review
- Subcontract management
- Make arrangements for production meetings and take notes
- Assisting the production team
- Maintain reports
General responsibilities:
- Compliance with policies (specifically Quality and Health & Safety procedures)
- Uphold and contribute to company standards
- Understanding that as part of training and/or to meet business needs there may be a requirement to transfer to other divisions
