We are looking for parcel delivery drivers for one of our clients – a leading parcel delivery company in the UK. Work will consist of deliveries (usually 50 to 60 drops) and some possible collections. You will be using a hand scanner when delivering parcels, for which training will be provided. You will be an ambassador for a world-renowned logistics company based in Exeter, Devon.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to commercial and domestic properties
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interaction
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Parcel delivery experience preferred but not essential – as long as you are comfortable driving a van
- A good attitude to work
- 50 to 60 drops per day. You won’t be going out of your area.
- The ability to follow workplace procedures
- The desire and ability to do all work according to company standards and expectations
- Willingness to learn and develop
- No more than 6 points on a full UK licence (depending on the code)
Monday to Saturday – 50+ hours per week
£13.21 per hour
Start time: Approximately 9:00 AM
Finish time: Approximately 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
