About the Role
SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division is currently recruiting 3.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client based in Morley, Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy home delivery operation, providing a high-quality delivery service to customers across the region.
You'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of household goods while delivering excellent customer service at every stop.
This is a physically active role, so you'll need to be comfortable lifting and carrying items such as furniture, mattresses, beds, flat-pack furniture, and white goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5-tonne delivery vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Completing scheduled home deliveries efficiently.
- Loading and unloading household goods as required.
- Carrying furniture and other large items into customers' homes.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Providing a professional and friendly customer experience.
- Following all company policies and health & safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous 3.5-tonne delivery driving experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A reliable, professional, and positive attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- Able to work independently and manage delivery routes efficiently.
