We are seeking a dedicated Loader/FLT Counterbalance driver to join our engineering and reinforcement team to work in a Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading of metal products.
Duties:
- Load and unload goods using appropriate materials handling equipment.
- Operate FLT Counterbalance vehicle as and when required - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A FULL FLT POSITION.
- Taking out and placing stock away in the correct locations.
- Loading up and unloading HGV vehicles to go out for deliveries.
- Utilise platforms for inventory control and process optimisation.
- Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all handling activities.
Skills:
- Proven experience in an engineering business.
- Hold a valid accredited FLT Counterbalance licence (please note in house will not be accepted).
- Happy to work in ALL weather conditions.
- Happy to commute to Rugby - will need own transport due to site's location.
- A positive can do attitude.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours (overtime).
