Job Purpose / Summary:
- Work as part of the paintshop team prepping and painting manufactured precision components used in earth moving equipment.
- Apply paint coats in accordance with the standard operating procedures and in line with customer specifications.
- Follow instruction and work in line with the company's health and safety and best practice policies.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Painting and prepping complex components to customer specifications.
- Deliver and be responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
- Actively support the Paint Shop in all areas in line with business requirements.
Education & Experience:
- Ideally 2 years plus wet painting experience.
- Versatile and enthusiastic with a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be able to follow detailed work instructions.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must have experience in wet paint spraying.
- A team player who can also work on own initiative.
- Basic numeracy & literacy.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Overalls.
- Safety glasses and shoes.
- Ear protection, hand gloves and mask.
