SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client in Wetherby for a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of drinks products to commercial customers. Working alongside a Driver's Mate, you will ensure each order is delivered safely, efficiently, and with a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and safety inspections
  • Secure and check orders before departure
  • Communicate route details and order information with your Driver's Mate
  • Deliver to customer premises, unloading stock as required
  • Collect empty kegs, pallets, and returns
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic POD tasks
  • Liaise with the Transport Management team regarding delays or vehicle issues
  • Comply with all Tachograph and driving legislation

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, including at least 2 years as a Class 2 driver preferred
  • Newly passed qualified drivers will also be considered for this role
  • Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC qualification
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the local area
  • Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred
  • Committed to excellent customer service and professional conduct
  • Willing to undergo DVLA licence checks

Working Hours

Monday to Friday (some weekend work required during peak periods such as Christmas and major events). Typical hours: 5:00am - 2:00pm (early finish possible when deliveries are completed).

Pay & Benefits

£16.54 per hour (PAYE). Holiday pay accrued separately. Permanent position with long-term security.
