About the Role
SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division is recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and customer-focused Doorstep Milk Delivery Drivers based from their depot in Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering milk and associated products to households across the Yorkshire area. Both full-time and part-time night shifts are available, offering excellent work-life balance with Friday and Saturday nights off every week.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a 3.5-tonne delivery van (Category B licence).
- Delivering milk and associated products to residential customers throughout Yorkshire.
- Loading and unloading milk crates and products safely.
- Completing deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Following all road traffic legislation and company health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts.
- Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and carrying milk crates.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
Shift Patterns
Full-Time
- Approximately 36–38 hours per week
- Worked over 4 nights per week
- 11:00pm – 7:30am
Part-Time
- Approximately 18–19 hours per week
- Worked over 2 nights per week
- Friday and Saturday nights off every week.
Pay & Benefits
- £14.14 AN HOUR, rising to £14.64 after 6 months with a £250 bonus for part time & £500.00 bonus for full time.
