SWIFT Temps Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver based at their Knaresborough depot. This is a full-time temporary position offering day shifts, delivering plants to garden centres, nurseries and their regular customers across the North of England and supporting operations at a busy nursery site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries
- Deliver plants on trolleys to garden centres throughout the North of England
- Assist with dispatch operations from the client’s 5-acre nursery site
- Complete all delivery paperwork and documentation accurately
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain compliance with transport regulations
- Provide professional and reliable customer service during deliveries
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Comfortable with early starts and rural driving routes
- Physically fit and capable of handling delivery duties
- Strong attention to detail
