SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver based at their busy Keighley site. This is a permanent, full-time role working Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of wagons and trailers around the depot and loading areas, supporting the dispatch operation efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Terberg shunter and Class 1/Class 2 vehicles around site
- Moving wagons and trailers safely and efficiently throughout the yard
- Organising vehicle movements in line with dispatch schedules
- Managing trailer parking and loading bay availability
- Supporting the smooth running of warehouse and transport operations
- Carrying out vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
- Working effectively within a fast-paced yard environment
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification
