Hours: Rotating shifts, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy operations team. This role will involve maintaining and repairing plant and site equipment through both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs, responding quickly to breakdowns, and ensuring equipment is kept in a safe and reliable working condition.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine inspections of site equipment
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns
  • Maintain key spare parts and equipment
  • Keep accurate maintenance records
  • Support general repair and upkeep of the building
  • Schedule PPM and repairs where required
  • Liaise with contractors on site when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised maintenance area

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in maintenance engineering
  • Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
