Swift Temps are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our client based in Gloucester. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong fabrication and welding experience, particularly within carbon steel and stainless steel.
Job Details
- Location: Gloucester
- Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:00, Friday: 07:45 – 15:30
- Pay: Hourly rate dependent on experience and quality of work
- Contract: Temp to Perm
- Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
- Benefits: Company pension contribution
Duties will include:
- Working with carbon steel and stainless steel
- MIG / MAG and TIG welding
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Producing high-quality work to specification
- Working safely and accurately within a workshop environment
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Welder / Fabricator
- Experience with pressure vessels and/or piping spools
- MIG / MAG and TIG welding experience
- Coded welding to ASME IX would be highly beneficial
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel
