SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with an FLT Counterbalance Licence, Permanent role, Ilkley Overview: We are seeking a Warehouse Operative with an FLT Counterbalance Licence to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of warehouse operations by ensuring that stock and racking are kept tidy, machinery is cleaned, and tasks such as unloading containers and stock picking are completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities: * Keep stock and racking tidy and organised to facilitate efficient stock management and retrieval. * Clean machinery and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. * Operate FLT (Counterbalance) to move, load, and unload materials and products safely and efficiently. * Assist in unloading containers and verifying incoming deliveries against packing lists or invoices. * Accurately pick and pack orders according to established procedures and standards. * Ensure timely and accurate put away of received stock to designated locations. * Perform regular stock checks and assist in conducting periodic inventory audits. * Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. * To work with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and deadlines. Qualifications: * Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred. * Valid FLT (Counterbalance) license with a proven track record of safe operation. * FLT Licence must be in date RTITB or ITSAR * Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed. * Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. * Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing (preferred but not required).
