Job Title: Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Grassington and Keighley sites
Salary: £55,000 per annum (for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 (1-hour break). Occasional Saturdays may be required.

Role Overview
The Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor will lead and manage the Maintenance Department, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations across both the Grassington and Keighley sites. The role involves supervising staff, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, and supporting the Engineering & Maintenance Manager in maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the workload of the maintenance team, planning daily tasks for engineers.
- Schedule and prioritize both planned and unplanned maintenance activities to align with production shifts.
- Ensure all necessary parts and resources are available for maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and update the maintenance job system accurately, confirming completion and equipment safety.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces across all maintenance areas.
- Ensure full compliance with company procedures and standards within the Engineering Department.
- Ensure all department staff are trained and competent to perform their duties effectively.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and improving maintenance procedures for factory and farm operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, or arrange and oversee repairs as required.
- Support planning and management of installation activities.
- Liaise with engineering suppliers and service providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with management to maintain safe, efficient site operations.
- Deputize for the Engineering & Maintenance Manager as required.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience supervising maintenance teams in industrial or production environments.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and compliance procedures.
- Ability to work across multiple sites effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
