The Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll be assembling and fitting mechanical components into larger, high-value assemblies. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you’ll build, strip, inspect, adjust, and rebuild parts to exacting quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and sub-assemblies
- Stripping down, inspection, fault-finding, and rebuilding parts
- Reading and interpreting mechanical/engineering drawings
- Carrying out mechanical repairs, adjustments, and refinements
- Fitting smaller precision components into larger assemblies
- Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely

- Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Assembly role
- Confident reading and working from mechanical drawings
- Strong hand-tool skills
