Our Cheltenham based client is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their team. This role will involve turning and milling aerospace components.

The role:

  • Adhering to technical drawings/instructions/processes
  • Ensuring production targets are met
  • Setting and Operating CNC Machines (3/4/5 axis; Fanuc controls)
  • Working to drawings and tight tolerances

Requirements:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents
  • Follow production, safety and quality procedures
  • Must have experience in operating CNC Lathe & milling machines (3/4/5 axis)
  • A reliable, motivated individual looking for a permanent long term role
  • Good communication
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
  • Understanding that as part of training and/or to meet business needs of the company, there may be a requirement to transfer to other divisions
