SWIFT Temps Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 LGV Driver to join the waste and recycling team supporting the local authority in the Wakefield area. This is an ongoing role, offering consistent work and a structured four-day week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a refuse collection vehicle on assigned rounds
- Work as part of a team collecting domestic waste and recyclables
- Carry out a variety of physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Maintain high safety standards and compliance with operational procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Class 2 (LGV) driving experience
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Previous refuse or recycling driving experience is desirable
