About the Role
SWIFT Temps Ltd Driving Recruitment Division is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Cover Drivers to join their transport operation based in Bradford, BD4.
This is an excellent opportunity for flexible and professional drivers who enjoy variety in their work.
As a Cover Driver, you will work across a range of different contracts, supporting the operation wherever required.
Duties will vary from yard shunting to RDC trunking and delivery work, offering a diverse and rewarding role.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operating a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle.
- Carrying out yard shunting duties when required.
- Completing RDC trunking and delivery work.
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks.
- Completing all relevant transport documentation accurately.
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely.
- Following all road transport legislation and company procedures.
- Providing reliable cover across a variety of contracts and operational requirements.
- What We Are Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience.
- Experience with RDC work and/or shunting is desirable but not essential.
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work.
- Good communication skills and a strong understanding of driver compliance.
