Care Manager (Young People)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Manager to join our team in a dynamic children\’s home. The ideal candidate will provide nurturing support to children and Young People (ages 8-18) in a residential setting. Experience is essential. To be able to meet Ofsted Regulation 28, you must meet 2 criteria: 1. Have been working with Young People for 2 years within the last 5 years. 2. Have supervised/managed a Team for 1 year within the last 2, in a care setting. The position will ideally suit an experienced Senior or Deputy that would like the opportunity to progress. Key Responsibilities: – Managing the residential home on a day-to-day basis, ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements, including the health and educational needs of young people. – Liaising with other agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes and support in the home to ensure positive outcomes for Young People and to meet contractual requirements. – Coaching, supporting and developing staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care. – Ensuring that all policies and procedures, legislation and contractual and inspection framework requirements are met. – Assisting in budget preparation and manage and control budgets to meet financial parameters. – Interpreting and implementing changes in legislation relating to occupanc…
