Role Overview
The Manager, Governance Communication plays a critical role in shaping, managing, and executing Swift’s governance-related communications. This individual will ensure consistent, transparent, and effective messaging across all governance activities including Board communications, shareholder engagement, and internal alignment with regulatory and compliance standards. This is a newly created position reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the communication partner to Governance and Corporate Secretariat teams.
- Craft high-quality materials for internal and external governance communications including Board reports, AGM briefings, policy updates, and shareholder communications.
- Coordinate messaging for executive leadership regarding governance and stewardship.
- Facilitate communications with shareholders, Board members, regulators, and member institutions on governance matters.
- Ensure communications support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Promote transparency and accountability through clear and consistent messaging.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives related to governance communication.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Law, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, strategic communications, investor relations or similar—preferably in financial services or global organizations.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to convey complex topics clearly.
- Experience in working with Boards, senior leadership, or regulators is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidence.

- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication abilities.
