Overall description of the Role
SWIFT is looking for a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group CFO, this global function entails the whole financial compliance and operational responsibilities for the Group and its 30+ legal entities. The Financial Controller is also owning the relationship with external auditors globally, and plays a key fiduciary role towards the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board. As Senior Leader joining the company, he/she will drive the vision of the team in alignment with the company’s strategic priorities and with a strong commitment to develop, attract and retain talents. What to expect
- Oversee the financial control and operations teams consisting of a 65 people team across the areas of:
- Controllership (Group and Subsidiaries)
- Centre of Excellence (Process risk & controls, improvement and automation)
- Financial operations (A/P, A/R, billing, customer contracts management)
We are seeking a strong and highly experienced finance professional to undertake these key priorities within our role:
- Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, or similar).
- At least 10 years acting in a leadership role in finance; experience as a statutory auditor is a plus.
- Able to review existing and establish new financial processes.
- Able and willing to take a hands-on role in finance.
- A Strong business partner, able to liaise with senior internal stakeholders.
- Able to challenge the status-quo.
- Industry knowledge a strong plus.

- Tech minded, with experience/demonstrable interest in digital transformation and automation.
