Overall description of the Role

SWIFT is looking for a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group CFO, this global function entails the whole financial compliance and operational responsibilities for the Group and its 30+ legal entities. The Financial Controller is also owning the relationship with external auditors globally, and plays a key fiduciary role towards the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board. What to expect

• Oversee the financial control and operations teams consisting of a 65 people team across the areas of:

• Controllership (Group and Subsidiaries)
• Centre of Excellence (Process risk & controls, improvement and automation)
• Financial operations (A/P, A/R, billing, customer contracts management)

We are seeking a strong and highly experienced finance professional to undertake these key priorities within our role:

• Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, or similar).
• At least 10 years acting in a leadership role in finance; experience as a statutory auditor is a plus.
• Able to review existing and establish new financial processes.
• Able and willing to take a hands-on role in finance.
• A Strong business partner, able to liaise with senior internal stakeholders.
• Able to challenge the status-quo.
• Industry knowledge a strong plus.
