We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate researcher with a minimum of three years' market research experience to join our team as a Senior Research Executive or Research Manager. You'll be joining an agency with an experienced senior team committed to supporting your career development, and one that actively welcomes your ideas and input as we continue to improve how we deliver the very best work for our clients.
Working alongside our established team of research managers and executives, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating large-scale quant and integrated projects, working alongside our in-house data processing and collection teams. Swift primarily focuses on product testing and development projects with projects ranging from field and tab to full service. It’s an exciting time to join us. Swift is now an employee-owned business and we're finishing one of our most successful years yet. Collaborating with our established team and adopting a creative and proactive approach, you will help build on our historical success and shape our future.
The Company offers a wide range of research serving both national and international clients from a variety of sectors. Swift has just celebrated its 40th birthday and we’re planning for the next 40 years. In order to maintain the family-feel culture and long-term future of the business, it became employee owned in 2023. This gives everyone a voice in shaping how the business is run and also gives all employees (partners) a share in the profits each year.
With an online panel, and our own on-site qualitative and sensory research centre, we conduct projects via a wide range of online and face-to-face methodologies, sometimes creating bespoke solutions to combine all of these into one. Swift is famous for its sensory research; we’ve seen huge growth coming from the laundry, personal care, household and air care sectors. However, our work is varied and we’ve seen significant growth in our food & drink work. Our clients range from small clients looking for bespoke research solutions to blue-chip FMCG companies and international fragrance houses conducting large-scale IHUTs, CLTs and online research throughout the UK and internationally.
What will you be doing? You’ll join the research team to deliver projects to our clients who include global brands such as P&G, Ipsos, IFF and dsm-firmenich. You will be responsible for project managing all parts of the research from start to finish. This includes liaising with the client to define the aims and parameters of the research, project managing proposal writing, collecting and analysing the data, and then producing a final debrief for the client. You will have your own portfolio of clients and will contribute to building relationships with clients, proposal writing and some new business activities. Research Managers would also be responsible for training and mentoring of more junior staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise and supporting them as they embark on their careers in research.
What are we looking for? A full-time, permanent Senior Research Executive or Research Manager to join the growing research team who is looking to make a real difference to a growing research agency. We are looking for a candidate that has the following experience:
- Educated to degree level.
- At least three years' experience working as a researcher in industry.
- Whilst quant experience is preferred, we also welcome integrated (qual/quant) researchers.
- A track record of project management and client engagement.
- Ideally from a product testing background with experience of sensory research, working in the FMCG sector.
- Experience of writing proposals and supporting on pitches and/or presenting to clients.
Above all else, we are looking for a committed individual who is willing to learn, support their colleagues, and a desire to meaningfully contribute to our research to drive the company forward. If you feel you have these skills, please get in touch - we would love to hear from you.
Benefits:
- 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + up to 5 additional loyalty days
- Company profit share scheme

- Hybrid working (after initial probation period)
- An additional day off for your birthday and anniversary of joining Swift
