Swift Removals & Storage is a well-established removals and storage company based in Gloucestershire, providing high-quality domestic, commercial, and storage solutions. We are seeking a Removals Estimator to carry out surveys and produce accurate quotations while delivering an excellent customer experience. We would also welcome applications from experienced removals operatives who are looking to transition into the office and sales side of the business, as well as candidates with international removals experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site, video, and telephone surveys for domestic, commercial, and international removals
- Assess volume, access, packing requirements, storage needs, and specialist items
- Prepare clear, accurate, and competitive quotations
- Explain services, pricing, and moving processes clearly to customers
- Build strong customer relationships and maintain high service standards
- Liaise closely with operations and management teams to ensure accurate job planning
- Maintain accurate records on CRM and estimating systems
- Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in removals estimating or hands-on removals experience with a desire to move into an office/sales role
- Experience in international removals (door-to-door, part loads, documentation awareness) is highly desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using IT systems, tablets, and estimating software
- Ability to assess access, volumes, and logistical challenges accurately
- Self-motivated, reliable, and professional
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
