We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Weekend Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. If you are an ambitious individual looking to expand your nursing skills in a supportive, close-knit environment, this role is for you. As a dedicated Night Nurse at Swift Referrals, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care to our first opinion and referral emergency cases and inpatients.
Routinely, you will work with the emergency clinicians to provide the highest standard of emergency care to presenting patients and manage the patients in intensive care as well as hospitalised referral patients. You will work closely within a team of nurses, ACAs, and vets to support and focus on our absolute priority, which is delivering the highest possible quality of nursing care.
We see a wide range of interesting cases across first opinion and referral emergencies and inpatients, so this is an amazing opportunity to really utilise your nursing skills to your full potential - all with the full support of our experienced team who will be there to guide you as you find your feet. As with all successful teams, we encourage everyone to be versatile and assist in other disciplines and emergencies as needed.

We have a 1.5T Siemens MRI scanner, 128 Slice GE CT scanner, doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, and state-of-the-art operating theatres, and separate dog and cat wards. We also have a dedicated ECC and OOH centre which houses a large ICU for our critical patients. We are fully committed to the wellbeing of our team of over 80 employees, and we are thrilled to see how this is reflected in the consistent positive feedback in our team satisfaction surveys.
