Caretaker / CleanerSalary: £13.50 Per Hour Location: Swift Precision Limited, 50 Brookhill Road, Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, NG16 6LEThe successful candidate will be required to undertake a variety of cleaning, janitorial and DIY duties as outlined below.Ideally, you will possess an excellent awareness of COSHH, Safe Manual Handling and general Health and Safety at Work Practices, though full training will be provided.Duties Include (but not limited to):- Supporting the cleaner, cleaning of floors and surfaces in canteens, communal areas, offices, toilets, etc.- Disposal of rubbish bins from Workshop and communal areas.- To carry out deep cleans as and when required.- General repairs and maintenance on site as required, in line with all local Health and Safety requirements.- Ensure the general appearance of the buildings and grounds areas are maintained according to the required standards.- Contribute to risk awareness and report issues where appropriate when carrying out duties.- Maintaining outside grounds as required.- Document actions by completing forms and logs for work to be done and work completed.- Maintain the facilities by performing minor repairs to the buildings and grounds.- Completes repairs by providing plumbing, bulb replacement, touch up painting of both inside and outside building, some minor electrical repairs.Requirements:- Willingness to complete all aspects of cleaning tasks- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual- Good organisational skills to manage own workload- Excellent communication skills- Ability to undertake minor repairs and maintenance using various hand and power tools.- Previous experience of cleaning and caretakingBenefits:- Early finish on Fridays- Contributory pension scheme- Christmas shut down- Work in a well organised and structured environment- On site parking- Free tea, coffee, bottled waterSalary is negotiable for the right candidate.Hours of work:Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 (with 15 min paid break and 30 min unpaid break)Friday 08:00 – 13:30 (with 20 min paid break)Strictly no agencies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
